IHSU becomes Microsoft Apps Factory Partner
IHSU is one of the two Universities in Africa and the only one in Uganda to join the prestigious Microsoft Apps Factory program. Microsoft under the Microsoft4Africa Program has designed a program that will enable students from African Universities access support from Microsoft. The Microsoft Apps Factory initiatives targets skilling students with technical skills that will enable them become competitive in the global workplace.

Team “Dynamite” takes on Smart Transport innovation at ACIA Hackathon
This week, IHSU students took part in a 48-Hours hackathon for Smart Transport Management. The hackathon which was organized by Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) in partnership with Makerere University School of Public Health – ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) – a multidisciplinary innovation hub conducted the Hackathon under the theme “Smart Transport Management (STM)”.

IHSU Students among Top 20 finalists at MTN APP Challenge 2017
Over the weekend of 12th to 15th of May 2017 a team of five students form the Applied ICT and Leadership program at International Health Sciences University took part in the MTN App Challenge organized by MTN Uganda to develop technological solutions to key industry problems in the Education, Health, Agriculture, Transport and Finance sectors.
